I will be presenting cooking exploits from my friend Paul every Wednesday this month. Balls not guaranteed.
If you're an astute observer of the MoFo happenings you will remember last year's project over at the I-40 Kitchen. Johnp tackled a number of southern childhood favourites and mastered the sausage balls of my childhood family reunions. Ain't no shame in Bisquick, y'all!
For his first cooking project Paul baked up a batch of these. Everyone loves food in ball form so even though these are never photogenic we all know brown food tastes best.

Paul does balls right.
Balls to the wall! Those look scrumptious. It's been years since I made sausage balls of any kind.
Whoa. I still keep meaning to do a gluten free/soy free version of these. Paul may have given me another push in that direction. You may just see them this month.
oh my. why haven't I made these balls? I want them for breakfast lunch and dinner. yes.
I just made some vegan, gluten free ones the other day! Yum!
BALLS!
I can't recommend these enough.
Dawn, I hope to see them on your blog!
Go Paul! From her judgmental perch on the astral plane, my grandmother approves!
Can't go wrong with balls.
Bisquick is good for a quicky.
Now I'm gonna have to go ahead and make some sausage balls. They sound dangerously good.
These balls were one of my top 3 recipes from last MoFo, and now I'm tempted to make them again. They're excellent with gravy, btw!
